This lamp gives a three-dimensional expression to the traditional Japanese "sai no me" pattern by stacking small wooden cubes along a diagonal axis.

Originally awarded the Grand Prize at the 2015 Kyoto Hanatouro Lantern Design Competition, this design has since been commercialized and, as of 2024, is included as a hometown tax return gift from Kyotango City.

小さな木の立方体を対角線上に積み重ねることで、和柄の「賽の目」を立体的に表現した灯りです。「賽の目」からこもれ出る光と影は花となり、日々の生活に彩りを添えてくれます。灯りは照度を得るためだけの道具ではなく、生活に安らぎと華やぎをあたえてくれるものであってほしい。

2015年に京都・花灯路創作行灯コンペにて最優秀賞をとった作品を商品化しました。2024年から京丹後市のふるさと納税返礼品に採用されています。
